lexii314 for the card! Such a nice surprise to wake up to at noon. Yep, I'm posting a little late today, after closing Deco's last night. I dragged the cool cousin along with me, and we spent most of the night dancing in VIP. Unfortunately, that was an open-air area, meaning smoking is allowed. I almost vomited/passed out/didn't dance. I find it harder to dance when I can't breathe, but I was determined to have fun anyway. The people-watching was great. There was the humping wall, the flaming bottles, the not-really-breakdancers, and a lot of people being thrown into the air. We got hit on a lot too, which always makes me feel bad because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I am not having some strange guy do the rabbit all over my ass. We were flattered anyway, even if every compliment came with a shot of liquor in vapor form. Mmm, steamy Bacardi breath in my face.

Of course, I never did see the people I was supposedly auditioning for, but we got free parking, no cover, and free water out of the deal. Oh, speaking of the water... I neglected to tip our server when she first brought it to me because I didn't have change. So I caught her later and handed her a dollar. Now, normally people are pleased that I tip for water. This girl looks at the dollar bill, makes her puke face, and then glares at me and says "Thanks." I'm like, um... the smiles are free but the bitchface costs extra? Whatever.

Highlights:
Best worst pickup line of the night - "Don't hurt anybody with that thing. Seriously. No, I'm not serious. I do want you to hurt me with it. I was just bluffing."

I think the best part for both of us, though, was "I got everything I need right here in my pants." I really think that needs to be on a t-shirt.
