Road Trip the Second?

Hi All! Remember how I said I really liked working from home? Well, my boss just called and told me to stop working for a week so that he can catch up with everything I've sent him recently. Unpaid time off... yay?

Some of you may remember that I am crazy I took a solo road trip a few years back and visited a few of my f-listers. I am thinking about taking the rest of this week to pick up my car in Florida (yeah, don't ask) and drive it back to Cali. I will either be going through Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, OR Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, and Nevada. I just wanted to put that out there in case any of you were willing to put up with me put me up for a night on the way? I wouldn't be able to spend a day anywhere but on the road, but we could at least share a meal and chat a bit.

ETA: Heck, if anyone wants to drive with me to/from any point, I can always fly you back... when I tire of you.

ETA the Second: Ok, so this is not happening this week. I'm now looking at making the trip Saturday, November 8th, which would give me an extra couple days' leeway in case I get lost/hit traffic/break down/am abducted by aliens. I would plan on reaching Kansas City by Monday night, Denver by Wednesday night, and Sonoma by Saturday 11/15. Let me know if that works and I'll book a flight!

It's pretty much the same as far as airfare is concerned. The advantage of KC is Aelora, obviously. I just found out that she's off on Tuesday the 11th.

I may actually have time to drive to OK, if you wanted to show off your place. I don't suppose those horses are for riding...?

Either way, I would be flying you back on Sunday the 16th, yes? Sunday is the most expensive day to fly to OKC for some reason. Otherwise, Sunday or Monday - it makes no difference to me (I will have to work on Monday, though, so I would probably be dropping you off at the aiport for a super early flight.

wait so you would drive to oklahoma before kansas city or after? and if i was going to fly into oklahoma (because you came to oklahoma to get me) i could fly into tulsa or okc, i'd have to have a friend pick me up either way.

you are totally welcome here. and the horses are for riding, but i'd have to see if one of the girls would let us ride them on whatever day you were gonna be here/what the weather was going to be like. it's already cold as shit here. ha ha ha. ;p

I would go there before Kansas City. So, I'd be there Sunday night and we'd leave for KC on Monday. I'll bring warm clothes anyway (thanks for reminding me). OKC would definitely be cheaper than Tulsa, but how far is that from you? Which is closer?

they are both about the same distance from me. so if okc is cheaper than that is fine. so we'd be leaving here monday? and i would be flying home monday? is that right?

If you need to get home sooner, we should be able to get to CA by Friday night so you can fly back Saturday, but if you can be free for that long, then let's give ourselves time to play! My brother lives in Reno, maybe we can crash on his floor after painting the town...

girl, i'll just take sun-sun off. and we'll paint the country orange... or whatever. i'll just work like everyday until then. ha ha ha. =D also, monday i wouldn't have to be at work until evening, so if monday is much cheaper to fly in to tulsa... i have several friends that work in tulsa who could bring me home that night.

let me know so i can arrange to have someone pick me up.

Awesome sauce. Every day of the week is the same, except when flying to Oklahoma City. Tulsa is about $50 more than OKC, but if you have a ride hookup, that's probably worth it. I plan on booking the tickets tonight (Yay!)

ok, so i would get to tulsa at 5 p.m.? let's go with that one if so. my friend gets off at 4 so she could pick me up then. is that ok? if it's way more or whatever i can fly to okc sunday, it's not a problem.
