Friday, aka November 26th, aka the-day-after-Thanksgiving, is Buy Nothing Day. So, you know, don't buy anything.
It's a worldwide effort to decommercialize the holidays. It's sponsored by Adbusters, which is going so far as to propose a Buy Nothing Christmas this year. If you're curious, check it out. It's pretty cool.

Also I refuse to go shopping on a day that's like a battle just to find a parking place...so yeah, I'll stay in and buy nothing probably....unless Mom and I decide to go to a movie....
