My husband got a job as a cook at White Wolf, one of the high camps between Yosemite Valley and Toulumne Meadows. He'll be training under the head chef, and running the kitchen when the chef is off. It's exactly what he's wanted. I got a job at the front office, right next door to him. I'll basically be doing what I do now, only I'll be getting paid manager scale. It's a good deal. The only downside? Our housing there has no electricity. Ponder that.

That was my husband's reaction too! He's actually really excited about it. His enthusiasm will win me over soon, I'm sure. :)
