Day on the Town

I went to Merced yesterday with my husband and Glo. I love when we go out. I love going to the 99cent store to sneak-buy each other gifts. I don't love never getting back before midnight, but eh, giddiness is good.

Glo is awesome. I get zero radio reception out here, and my car is ancient (i.e. pre-CD), so I brought along portable speakers for the long car ride. They tend to shatter kneecaps as they go flying off the dash at every bump. Not good for the speakers, you know. So Glo fastened them to the dash with Velcro. My car's sound system is now Ghetto-Fabulous. *loves*

P.S. Even though I'm sure they won't be reading this, I have to thank my companions for putting up with me yesterday. I was the Mood Swing Queen. Shush. The sugar had nothing to do with it. Really.

I thought so too!
But from what I've heard, we seem to be in the minority ... don't know why. I really liked it and can't wait to get it on DVD.

Who wouldn't like that movie? I love seeing people play different versions of themselves (e.g. doppelgangers). I love having my brain twisted. I love when movies have a sense of humor, even though they're not "comedies". Really, what's not to like?
