Things that are making me happy right now:
So many people getting involved in politics! I've never seen this quantity and quality of interest in an election before. I'll be shocked if there isn't a record voter turnout in November.
San Diego. It's beautiful here, and pleasantly familiar. We have gardening and home improvement projects here at my grandma's house, and I'm surprisingly excited about all of it.
Gainful employment. My job is interesting, and challenging, and keeps me busy. I'm developing skills I never would have otherwise. Plus I get to work from home!
My husband. I know, I always say that, but it's always true! He is so incredibly wonderful. I'm very fortunate. And just a little spoiled.
LJ friends! Whenever I need a break, or I need to talk, or I just miss you, you're always there. Cheesy, but true. I am so grateful for you guys.
A full social calendar. I've been going to some event almost every day, making at least one good connection at each event, meeting some awesome people. I'm about to leave for another one, actually.
