Because I am still too lazy to post a real update... Kans-assians. Oh, this ep is off to a good start.
Perry is not threatening in the least. But it’s cute how hard he tries.
Clark stops dead in the road and just stares while this car comes at him? You don’t need superspeed to get out of the road. Did he think that pensive stare would get him out of trouble again?
Perry blames Clark for his wrecked car? Clark was well on the other side of the yellow line from the lane Perry was supposed to be in. This is like a battle of wits between my pet rocks.
I wonder if Lex chose a female shrink to reduce the chances of him actually opening up?
Beautiful avoidance maneuver. Lex is so freaking smooth.
Perry’s an ass. Yes, Lana’s far too breakable, but still. Harsh.
Lex’s response to the ocean sounds reminds me how long 3 months is. Poor, poor Lex.
Succinct is such a great word. Though I wish I’d gotten to hear him pronounce it “suck-cinct”.
Lex appears in the doorway, shrouded in light. Perry looks up at him like he’s a God.
Lex tosses Perry’s suitcase on the ground. How low-class. Makes me all giddy.
Replacement tractor: $20,000. Flask of liquor: $10. That look on Perry’s face: priceless.

Has it ever occurred to Clark and company to keep discussions of his powers behind closed doors?
Lex is actually surprised that the doctor won’t sign off after five hours of stringing her along?
I like Lex’s doctor. I’m not sure about the actress, but the dialogue is great. She’s a straight talker.
She called him a control freak to his face. Awesome.
Clark’s involuntary superspeed! Almost as funny as flying squirrel Clark!
Perry and Lex are magic.

Jungle living. Oh yeah. Now let’s see that jungle boogie. Lex throws Perry up against the wall. Damn. Mmm, that’ll do. I’m waiting for Lex to start spitting, like Island Lex. Hmm. . . If Lex carries through with that threat, the dirt Perry has on Lionel will be exposed. It’s a win-win for Lex, isn’t it?
Lex’s moment of recovery is brilliant. Shaky Lex. Hold on, I have to take off my jacket. Damn.
Clark has a cell phone? Oh yeah. It must have been a Christmas present, like that dirt bike last season.
Perry jumps off a bridge for Clark. I guess that’s a win-win, too. Either he gets his story, or he falls into early retirement.
Clark insists that he doesn’t have any powers. Perry, listen to him. The boy can’t lie for shit. If he says anything convincingly, it must be so.
Perry slips down so that his face is in Clark’s crotch. He’s starting to think this wasn’t such a great idea.
Clark is, once again, saved by the convenient loss of his superpowers. Which, once again, leaves so much unexplained. Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe he can turn his powers on and off?

I thought so too ... like he was just merrily running along and someone goosed in the caboose to disctract him while another grabbed his belt and sped off on a jet!

I quite liked that episode and Michael McKeon was great, tho I seem to be in the minority. Personally I can't wait to see more of him ... if we ever do ....
