Autumn has always been my favorite time of year. Southern Illinois might not sound like a tourist trap, and it’s not, but the small, tree-filled hills are beautiful in the fall. And the weather is perfect (well, for me). It was the only time I ever liked the place.
Just last night I was thinking about the part of the country you are in and how beautiful It must be right now. Even central Illinois isn’t that bad, but wow, I can barely imagine the slice of heaven you are experiencing everyday. Very lucky indeed. :)
