Actually, I live in a canvas tent, too, and my heater is broken. I guess things haven't changed that much! At least I can hook up to the internet at work. Or at the lodge, at the library . . . I'll take what I can get. I'm a cashier at the moment, but Glacier Point closes in a couple weeks, so we'll see where I end up. Wish me luck!
