I think I've put myself out of the running for that HR job. I didn't even get to submit the resume Gradeafan touched up for me! Apparently I was one of the top three candidates, but they are looking for someone to stay in the position for a number of years. I had to be honest. I'm not willing to commit to that. Living in the dorms, working the same 9-to-5, for the rest of my young life? With no opportunities for travel? No possibility of children and family? Not a chance. I'm really bummed about it, though. I could have learned so much there, and it would keep me busy year-round. Oh, well. I have gotten two other job offers already, for when Badger Pass closes. Maybe I'll get to live in Toulomne Meadows!...

Aww...I'm sorry it didn't work out, but that just means there's something better down the road!!

*Hugs* back!

Thanks, guys! I was iffy on that job in the first place, so I know you're right. I guess I just really wanted the option -- you know, to be the dump-er rather than the dump-ee. LOL. I'm over it.

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] gradeafan ... plus, now your resume is all spiffy!!! So it's ready to go.

That my friend is always a big issue ... one you don't have to hurdle. Well, unless enough time passes and you have to update it again. *g*

You're getting to be quite the icon queen eh? no more blank space for you!!

Re:

It is awfully nice having that resume in pocket.
I still have a free account, so I only have 3 icons. But slodwick was generous enough to let me use a couple of hers when she redid her journal. So I have *spiffy new* icons.
